These things just happen. Sometimes we think we could avoid them, but sometimes it's all more an accident or coincidence. As my friend used to say, there were things in life that can't be decided by ourselves. What can we do?What can we do, if somebody dies? Somebody that should have lived? Somebody who didn't deserve it?What words of comfort can we give to them or their beloved ones? Does it make a sense?There was a bus accident in Tuscany on Monday. About 57 middle school students were traveling back home to France, when early in the morning the bus crashed. It turned and rolled down the road. Reports said there were three victims, including 13 years-old boy. Six more chi! ldren were injured. These things happen. Just as it happened on Haiti where several hundred thousands succumbed the terrible disaster.Can we cry for them all? It is not a matter of a number. Human life can't be put into the statistic. One human life, one boy means the whole universe for his parents...Suddenly, as I write these lines, I find out, I can't find more appropriate words. Death is something you can't get prepared for. Only few can do it. I am not prepared. Right now, there's something similar going on.My friend is dying. I can't help him and the silence within me, within my room and my work is destroying my life. I am not prepared to loose somebody so close. He could tell it to me thousands times, I would refuse to believe. It is so painful, words couldn't describe it. And the rest of the world seems to be rushing. There is only me, paralyzed in the light, there is only him, fighting for his life. All in terrifying silence. All in haze and mist. Me, you, they, eve! ryone...
