EU proposed stronger sanctions for Iran

EU wants to tougher sanctions for Iran`s oil and gas to as a way Tehran stops the nuclear program. They think that latest packages of sanctions wasn't enough efficient because it didn`t discourage Iran to stop the nuclear enrichment. Iran is still affirm that nuclear enrichment is only for energy-producing reactors not for developing nuclear weapons.Washington is afraid of stroke of the new sanctions. They think it will expand the oil and gas prices because Iran is depending on oil and gas business. And also such Europe as USA have deep business and energy ties with Iran.With this propose come British prime minister, Gordon Brown at a London conference with George Busch. Brown also said Britain would to freeze the assets of Iran`s largest bank and he also expected that other EU partners would follow this step. However as a news magazine in Iran, Shahrvand Emrouz reported, Iranians probably expected the freezing their assets in European banks, so last week they withdraw about $75 billion and save them in Iran.Bank Melli was accused by Washington to favoring Iran`s nuclear programs.The economic analysts said the markets are afraid about rising the oil and gas prices because they aren`t sure about the respond of Iran to the new package of sanctions. They said it could cause big problems in energy sector in Europe as Iran one of the main export market with crude oil for Europe.Some nations try to put down trades with Iran.The Iranian affairs expert, Mehrzad Bouroujerdi said the sanctions definitely extract a pressure to Iran but he is not convinced Tehran give up the uranium enrichment.
