North Korea fires artillery shells near the borders in the Yellow Sea.

There is no peace on Korean peninsula and apparently won't be for a long time. Both neighbors, although sharing the same ground, name and history face still upon the edge breaking point. Both countries show off their naval powers in series of excercises. But they are not just excerscises – they may be the silence before the storm, showing the muscles to each other. But who is the agressor and who shall defend? The fleets are crossing the waters of Yellow Sea, but the border among the countries is also disputed. Such as are naval “accidents” that happen from time to time and are sign of long-time underground battle for power. Last time it was torpedoed Sout! h Korean warship that was sailing near blamed border. Seoul accused its neighbors, but so far PyongYang hasn't even considered the blame would fall upon its head. With or without it, 46 sailors died on this ship and South Korea. Now the excercise was according North the “preparation for invasion” which was about to be responded with strong force. Seoul did the excersise after March accident, but North was ready to defend territory and its image of total independence. Sunday made the situation even worse since North seizured South Korean fishing boat in the Sea of Japan (East Sea). Seoul today reported North Korea sent war boats near the borders. According Yonhap news agency the fleet fired around 100 artillery shells after South finished five-day training. But the shells landed on the North part of the borders.
