Female judge and clerk shot dead in Brussels court by Magdalena Rosova

A female judge and a court official were shot dead during a court hearing in a Brussels courtroom on Thursday. After that the killer flee, which is a security embarassment for the country. The man was present throughout the whole hearing and in one moment he pulled a gun and shot the judge and her clerk. The hearing was dealing with a neighbourhood dispute case when the incident happened. The assassination happened in the heart of the capital, close to famous Palace of Justice. The gunman was pursued by one of the lawyers but then managed to flee. A manhunt for the killer was already launched. Right after the event was not clear weather the killer had some connectio! n with the case in progress. But later several sources identified attacker as Albanian who was disappointed by decision of the magistrate over custody of his children. The victims were 60-year-old magistrate Isabelle Brandon and Andre Bellemans, her court clerk. Belgium's Justice Minister Stefaan De Clerck came to the scene right after the shooting and said Brandon was a great judge with an excellent curriculum vitae. De Clerck said it was unacceptable that a magistrate and her clerk were killed right in the court room. Brandon was known as a judge of peace, who fought for justice close to the people. De Clerck said it was a terrible day for justice and four society of their country. For a long time there has been problem with security in Belgium's judicial buildings and prisons. In recent years there have been many successful escapes from the prisons.
