Chernobyl strikes again in Russia by Zivka Deleva

It is not the nicest thing now to be in the great Russia. One of the most powerful countries in the world now is helpless in front of the fires that are all around Russians. Not only Moscow is in smog for a week, but, Bryansk region which is worldwide known for the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, as well is under fire. Though the government didn’t want to raise dust around that neighborhood, but the state forest official claims that on August 6 there has been fire. We are talking about hundreds of hectares surface that were contaminated in that terrible year of 1986, when the nuclear disaster happened in Ukraine. The fires are nothing new in the summer time, but why den! ying it, when it is not a something that can be hidden? The Russian emergencies ministry refuses that there had been fires in the region, probably wanting to avoid people’s fear after the possible concerns of nuclear particles that people might breathe. "According to data from August 6, in the Bryansk region alone 28 fires covering an area of 269 hectares were recorded on these radioactive lands.There are maps of the (nuclear) contamination, there are maps of the fires. Anyone can put the two together. Why deny this information?" – asked a forest watchdog from Roslesozaschita. According to him, about 3.900 hecateres of Russian land that is proclaimed radioactive, has been under influence of the wildfires. In front of the truth, the Gods are quiet as well. But concerning the Russian political structure which is all about conspiracy, secrets and everything but transparency, than I should conclude that they believed to be successful this time in hiding the trut! h.
